ST. PHILIP'S COLLEGE DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT AND GRANTS DEVELOPMENT AMONG AFRICAN-AMERICANS IN SAN ANTONIO HONORED IN ANNUAL PUBLICATION

When the 2018 故事 Directory and Yearbook release and presentation event takes place 7月 30 at 6 p.m. 在圣. 菲利普的大学's 600-seat Watson Fine Arts Center at 1801 Martin Luther King Drive, the honored this year will include the director of institutional advancement and grants development for the nation's largest Historically Black 大学 and Universities member institution.

Dr. 沙龙Crockett-Ray is both director of institutional advancement and grants development at 120-year-old St. 菲利普的大学 and author of the 2010 book The Dual Credit Program-Measuring the Effectiveness on Students' Transition from High School to 大学, her research on the effectiveness of dual credit programs that afford high school students an opportunity to earn college credits prior to graduating from high school.

African-Americans in 圣安东尼奥 are traditionally honored in the annual 故事 Directory and Yearbook series from the 圣安东尼奥-based Avista Products creative agency that offers a listing of black businesses, community listings and events in Bexar县. Not only is Ray one of the interview subjects having their stories told in the 2018 edition of 故事 Directory and Yearbook, she is a member of the 2018 故事 Class as announced on social media at the publication's 脸谱网 page on 7月 27.

Ray earned her Doctorate of Philosophy degree in education from Capella University, her Master of Arts degree in human resources development from Webster University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from The University of Texas at 圣安东尼奥.

Content readers might want to keep an eye out for in the new publication includes that Ray is also chair of the Heritage Committee at St. 菲利普的大学. In her capacity as director of institutional advancement and grants development at St. 菲利普的大学, Ray is responsible for developing plans, 培养人际关系, soliciting donors and prospective donors to raise financial support critical to meeting college component and overall resource development goals.
