PAC Drama students getting hands-on experience

Two 帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) Drama students have been selected to participate in a summer stock program. Ramiro Velasquez Jr. and Jonathan Guillen are both working at the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. Jonathan was hired as a carpenter, while Ramiro is serving as Assistant Technical Director. Summer stock programs allow students from across the country to meet and participate in full-scale productions with professionals within the industry in a one-of-a-kind experience.

 

PAC加入AAC&U project to support student learning

帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) is one of 20 institutions selected to participate in the Association of American 大学 and Universities' (AAC&U) new two-year project, "Strengthening Guided Pathways and Career Success by Ensuring Students Are Learning". The Guided Pathways project is designed to build institutional capacity to support student learning. The framework is composed of four main practice areas: mapping pathways to student end goals; helping students choose and enter a program pathway; keeping students on path; and ensuring that students are learning.

 

PAC president named to national Catch the Next board

Dr. 罗伯特·加尔萨, president of 帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) will be officially inducted as a member of the Board of Directors for Catch the Next, 公司. (CTN), during the CTN Annual Meeting on Thursday, 6月 6. CTN is a national college readiness and completion organization committed to increasing the educational attainment of Latinos and other underserved communities in order to 关闭 higher education equity and achievement gaps. PAC's partnership with CTN allows serve over 120 new students each Fall term.
